REMEMBER ME, MY LOVE / RICORDATI DI ME     ‘Some Loves Are Never Forgotten’ Director Gabriele Muccino's follows-up the great success of his last film L'ultimo bacio with Ricordati di me which focuses on the generation of Italian forty-somethings: their dreams, hopes and disillusions.  In their twenties Carlo (Fabrizio Bentivoglio) wanted to become a novelist and Giulia (Laura Morante) dreamed of becoming a great actress.  Years later, they wake up and discover that reality is quite different: she's teaching high school and he's a financial broker.  As for their children, they're busy pursuing their own dreams.  Disillusionment becomes the motor and motivation for betrayal, adventures, and what's worse, for their children's life choices.  Once again, Muccino has taken a long, hard look at contemporary Italy and come up with a portrait of his homeland that's shocking, poignant, at times funny and never less than insightful.  Ricordati di me premiered at the 2003 Toronto Film Festival and screened at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.  It was nominated for 10 Donatello Awards (winning 6, including Film, Actor, Actress and Director) and was one of Italy’s most successful films in 2003.  Run time:  120 min Language:  Italian - With English Sub-titles
